I Love pasta.nI mean, who doesn’t ? Yes, it has carbs, I cook with it ALL the time. In fact, now that I think about it, we usually have pasta at least once a week, whether it’s in salad form, or a main dish.

From Spaghetti to Fettuccine Alfredo,  pasta is something the whole family loves, so we have it quite often. This next recipe is another one of those dishes you can add to the meal plan, because it’s simple and definitely delicious.

This Cheesy Penne Pasta is a white sauce pasta that is great on it’s own, but could be even heartier if you add chicken or another favorite meat.

If you like pasta dishes I would definitely try this one out. It’s super cheesy and has just the right touch of garlic and other spices making it another go to dinner recipe.

About This Classic White Sauce Pasta.White Sauce Pasta is an easy-to-make recipe of cooked pasta in a delicious white sauce.Simply prepare the white sauce - a mixture of butter, milk, flour and spices and pour it over your cooked pasta.



--*INGREDIENTS*--

For cheese white sauce

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon whole wheat flour (maida)

1 cup milk(250ml)

¼ teaspoon black pepper powder

1 cop grated permesan cheese

test of salt

For Cooking Pasta

1 cup penne pasta (100gm)

4 cups water

¼ teaspoon salt (test of solt)

Other Ingredients

chopped garlic

¼ teaspoon dry oregano

¼ teaspoon dried or fresh thyme

¾ teaspoon dried or fresh rosemary

For Garnish

any herb of your choice or some fried basil, parsli chopped, black olive,

permesan cheese or grated cheddar cheese - add as required (optional)

DIRECTIONS......

At fast heat 2 tablespoons butter in the same pan or kadai over medium flame. add 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped garlic andsauce for 30 seconds.

add 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour (maida). stir continuously and cook for a minute. pour 1 cup milk(250ml) little by little while stirring continuously with a whisk.

stir and mix for 1-2 minutes. reduce flame to low.continue stirring and cooking until mixture starts to thicken. it will take around 3-4 minutes depending on the size and

thickness of the pan.when mixture stsrt to coat the back of a spoon as ahown in the picture to thicken. add ¼ teaspoon dry oregano,¼ teaspoon dried or fresh thyme,

¾ teaspoon dried or fresh rosemary salt and pepper.mix well. transfer it to a serving plate. white sauce pasta is now ready. garnish it with grated permesan cheese, black olive, chopped parsley, cheery tomato and fried basil ana serve while they are still hot.
